About Programme

The Emerging Innovation in Northern Europe Programme is a Nordic-proposed initiative to strengthen Nordic-Russian co-operation, capacity building and networking among Nordic and Northwest Russian innovators, through a comprehensive programme of seminars, lectures, workshops and study visits.

The aim of the programme is to:

• promote and support the exchange of experience and knowledge in the sphere of innovation between Northwest Russia and the Nordic countries, in order to generate new ideas and innovation in the Baltic Sea Region;
• establish new contacts and professional cross-regional networks of innovators to facilitate continuous co-operation;
• to stimulate new cross-regional investments and ventures.
