Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Center of Russian Academy of Science

The Institute of Economics serves as a center for studies of the economic and social processes in the North-West Russia and the Republic of Karelia. The Institute carried out analytical and methodological work on the economic and social processes in the border resource-oriented region and is preparing highly qualified scientific personnel in the field of economics and management. Economics Institute actively collaborates with other scientific organizations, educational institutions, signed an agreement on international cooperation with foreign partners.
